Accounts Assistant

Location: Telford

Salary: Circa £26k (Temporary)

My client is a large manufacturer and looking for a temporary Accounts Assistant to provide operational support to help maintain an efficient and accurate finance function

Finance Assistant - Job Role:

• Sales Ledger processing
• Purchase Ledger processing
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Cashbook processing and other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager such as assisting with monthly reports, month end reports and reporting schedules and general clerical duties

Finance Assistant – Person Requirements:

• The individual should be educated to GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
• Ideally have an AAT Qualification.
• The candidate should have knowledge and experience in Sage 200 Accounting system
• Experience of Purchase and Sales Ledger
• Experience of AS400 system and worked in a similar size company
