Buyer - Interim
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: up to £32k

I am currently recruiting for a Buyer to join anelectronics manufacturer, based in Chesterfield. This position will be on a 12 month Interim basis, with the chance to go permant after this period of time.

Buyer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure supplier terms are defined, contract, payment terms and rebates applied
• Work closelywith other departments to make sure the needs of the business are met
• Price negotiation
• Identify suitable new suppliers and review existing supplier base
• Work closely with the technical team to ensure that quality and service levels are adhered to.

Buyer - Job Requirements:

• A proven background in a purchasing role
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
• Ideally either CIPS qualified or a will to work towards
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
