Buyer - Interim
Location: Burnley
Salary: up to £30k

I am currently recruiting for an Interim buyer to join one of the UK's most forward-thinking precision engineering companies.

Buyer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Negotiate with suppliers to maximise savings saving's and maintain quality of materials
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain and develop supplier relationships
• Source new products in line with New Product Development
• Monitor and advise on issues that may present risk or opportunity for the organisation
• Sourcing of alternative suppliers when needed
• Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
• Compile data relating to supplier performance in order to evaluate
• Monitor market trends and competitor strategies

Buyer - Job Requirements:

• 3+ years purchasing experience
• Possess solid negotiating skills
• CIPS qualification at any level advantageous
