Buyer - Interim
Location: Preston
Salary: up to £35k

I am currently recruiting for an Interim buyer to join a well-established manufacturer of high-quality supplements and nutritional products.

Buyer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Negotiate with suppliers to maximise savings saving's and maintain quality of materials
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain and develop supplier relationships
• Source new products in line with New Product Development
• Work closely with planning, product development technologist and other internal stakeholders
• Maintain a supplier list and negotiate contracts for both direct and indirect purchasing
• Sourcing of alternative suppliers when needed

Buyer - Job Requirements:

• 3+ years purchasing experience
• Possess solid negotiating skills
• CIPS qualification at any level advantageous
