Design Engineer

Location: Slough

Salary: £35k - £45k plus excellent benefits

Design Engineer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

Position Overview:

Take design projects from brief through conceptual design to testing, prototyping right through to delivery. The Design Engineer needs to have the aptitude to solve problems and provide technical solutions. This is a position which requires the Design Engineer to communicate with external stakeholders.

Design Engineer - POSITION ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to use Solidworks to create drawings.
• A hands-on position, where being in the workshop to test and analyse results.
• An aptitude to solve problems and provide technical solutions
• Take a design project from cradle to grave.

Design Engineer- job requirements:

The ideal candidate must

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in Solidworks
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal
• Produce BOM’s

Preference Level:

• Knowledge of P&ID
• Electrical Engineering Knowledge

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum Required:
At least 3 years of experience
