Electrical Design Engineer, what your role will include:

You will join an excellent team based in their head office in Cambridge. Most of your time will be spent creating and updating electrical design drawing packs of power controls for the systems using SolidWorks Electrical. Occasional travel required to meet customers for design reviews or gathering information.

You will be given continuous training and development to advance your skills within the company.

Electrical Design Engineer, what we require:

The ideal candidate will come from an Electrical Design Engineering background and have the following:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer for control and automation, with strong understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings and systems.
• Proficiency in the use of CAD or SolidWorks Electrical in designing circuit schematics
• Familiarity with electrical panel design and working knowledge of BS EN 60204
• Knowledge of machine functional safety using BS EN ISO 13849 or BS EN62061
