Electrical Engineer Location: Sheffield Salary: Circa £30k - £38k Depending upon experience This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading electrical manufacturing company as an Electrical Engineer. Company overview: The company was started 30 years ago by the current owners who are Electrical and Electronics experts. They manufacture energy saving products that are used by many manufacturing companies across the UK. The company are now looking for an Electrical Engineer that they can train in their products with the view to be coming their technical director in a couple of years. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leader within their field. Electrical Engineer – Overview Field service maintenance in order to learn their products. This will be shadowed by the technical director until you are competent in their products Provide technical assistance to the assembly team Look at production improvements that can be made Fault-finding and servicing their machines Develop the production and processes Look at new product development Electrical Engineer - job requirements: The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as an Electrical Engineer You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience: Hold a relevant Electrical or Electronics engineering qualification such as BEng, HND or HNC. Come from an Electrical or Electronics manufacturing background Ideally have experience with Mains Distribution or Voltage Optimisation Have around 3 – 5 years industry experience You will have strong communication skills, ambitious, flexible and adaptable and a personable approach to engineering. You will also be forward thinking and have an ability to be diplomatic when questioning the company’s operations and how to improve them. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking for further training and development to become the companies Technical Director.
