Job: Electronic Design Engineer

Salary: £45,000

We are recruiting for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join our talented team based in Oldham, Manchester.

Job description, Electronic Design Engineer:

You will join the company as the Electronics subject expert in the time. This means you will advise, support, and collaborate with other engineers on the electronic product design, development, and deployment. You will be involved from the briefing stage and research of current, and new, technology, to development concepts and drawing schematics to designing prototypes. You must ensure products are designed to specification, high quality, reliable, and cost effective. You will have to manage multiple electronic projects on time, and to budget. Test and verify circuit layouts, and printed circuit boards, undertake peer reviews, and solve EMC and safety issues.

What we require, Electronic Design Engineer:

You will need to have knowledge on electronic circuit design and simulation for consumer and industrial markets, with appreciation of firmware requirements and limitations. You must have at least 4 years in industry as a requirement. You will need to have previous experience in Design for Manufacture (DFM). You need to understand PCB layout and Gerber Data Generation. You will need to test prototypes and pre-production samples. Must have good knowledge of EMC and electrical safety standards.
