Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £28k - £33k plus excellent benefits

A national manufacturing company now require a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.

Health and Safety Advisor - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
You will be working with the companies HSEQ Manager to ensure H&S compliance in the factory.
Ensuring all personal are wearing the correct PPE
Provide HSE training such as Manual Handling, FLT and safe practices of work etc
Undertake HSE Inductions
Undertake accident and investigations

There is currently a Health and Safety Advisor / Trainer on site who will be retiring at the end of the year, so this is a great opportunity for someone to shadow the current H&AS Advisor and learn from them, how to coach and train as well as providing positive H&S influences.

Health and Safety Advisor - job requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Health and Safety Advisor. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Member of IOSH
  • Ideally have some training experience delivering Manual Handling and FLT safety courses etc
  • Have a hands on and pro-active approach to health and safety
