Health and Safety Advisor

Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire

Salary: Circa £35k - £45k

A large Manufacturing company who utilise speciality chemicals to produce their products now requires a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.

Health and Safety Advisor – Job Role

To work with the HSEQ Manager to ensure the companies HSE Policies and Procedures are being adhered too.

Undertake accident and investigations

Manage the companies COSHH AND DSEAR requirements

Make sure everyone is wearing the correct PPE

Promote a positive HSE Culture

Provide HSE Training and undertake HSE Inductions

Health and Safety Advisor - Person Requirements:

The ideal candidate MUST come from the Aerospace Manufacturing Industry as a Quality Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:

• Hold a NEBOSH General, NCRQ or NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety
• Ideally come from a Chemical, Plastics or process manufacturing environment
• Ideally have experience of COSHH and/or DSEAR
• Have a hands on, pro-active approach to HSE
