Health and Safety Manager
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: Circa £35k - £40k plus excellent benefits

A local engineering company who manufacture precision machined parts are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team.

Health and Safety Manager - Job Role:
Review and update the companies Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Undertake accident and investigations
Ensure the correct use of PPE
Provide health and safety training and inductions
Promote a positive health and safety culture

Health and Safety Manager - Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Health and Safety Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
• Ideally be CMIOSH or working towards
• Auditing experience of ISO 14001 and/or ISO45001 is desirable but not essential
• Ideally come from a CNC / Precision machining background in health and safety
