Health and Safety Manager
Location: York or Teeside
Salary: £40k - £45k plus company car

A local environmental services company are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager. The position is a brand-new role which has come about due to a re-structure within the business.

Health and Safety Manager - Job Role:
Maintain the company's accreditations with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Work with the company to change people's mindsets and to create a positive health and safety culture
Travel to client sites overseeing works undertaken by the company's employees. Initially this will be a lot of travel (60%) until company HSE policies and been established then spot checks as and when required.

Health and Safety Advisor - Requirements:
The ideal candidate will come from a high-risk industry such as:

• Oil & Gas
• Petrochemical
• Construction
• Chemical Processing

You will be a Health and Safety Manager and have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Health and Safety
• Member of IOSH and working towards CMIOSH
• Experience of maintaining all 3 systems, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Able to travel up to 60% of your time to client sites undertaking site audits and site inspections etc
