Health and Safety Manager – Contract

Location: Deeside

Salary: Between £25.00ph - £30.00ph

Contract Length – 3-months to 4-months

You will be employed directly by the client on their PAYE system inline with IR35

A global manufacturing company are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to work onsite for a short term of 3 months.

Health and Safety Manager – Overview

This is a short term, temporary position to cover the HSE on site whilst the company await their new HSE Manager to start.

The role will be to maintain the HSE on site, maintain the policies and procedures.

Ensure the correct PPE is being worn.

Control of contractors on site

Ideally work to achieve a fire marshal policy or get the SHE Committee off the ground

Manage the HSE Apprentice and ensure they are where they need to be

Health and Safety Manager - job requirements:

The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Health and Safety Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate
• Have a pro-active and hands on approach to HSE
• Be engaging and dynamic
• Have an understanding of Environmental Management ideally hold an environmental management qualification such as IEMA (Not essential)
• Able to start immediately
