Location: Nottingham / Newark
Salary: circa £40,000.00
Shift: 4 on 4 off rotating days/nights

The role is part of a team which covers production over 24/7, 4 on 4 off, 2 days 2 nights.
Due to location you must have your own transport and competitive rates of pay are offered.

A local company who specialises in animal rendering has a vital role of Industrial Electrician. The company work in the agricultural and agri-food industries. It is one of just four rendering facilities in the UK, and has recently invested in a CHP Combined heat power plant to serve its factory.

Industrial Electrician - Job role:
You must have industrial electrical experience and be competent to carry out all electrical works including inspection and testing and possess practical engineering skills to be able to work on your own proficiently and carry out installation, repair work without immediate supervision.

Industrial Electrician - Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the industrial or manufacturing industry as an Industrial Electrician. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • You will be apprentice trained or hold a HNC, HND in engineering
  • Ideally hold a 17th Edition in wiring regs
  • You must have previous experience with 240V and 415V three phase also Heavy Plant Machinery,
  • The ability to read and work from technical drawings
