I am currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with one of the UK’s leading flood defence manufacturing companies. The position is for a Mechanical Service / Maintenance Engineer. The role will involve the following:

• Maintenance of the companies flood / dive tank
• Operation of the Flood / dive tank
• Re-act to breakdowns and repairs to the flood / dive tank
• Ordering equipment, tools and spares for the flood / dive tank
• Demonstrating to key stake holders and external bodies the flood / dive tank in operation

The position will be based in Worcester / Droitwich / Bromsgrove area and paying circa £30k – Working Days, Monday to Friday.

The position will be ideal for someone with the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as Apprenticeship, C&G, HNC or HND in Mechanical engineering
• Self-Confident and able to undertake demonstrations to stake holders and external customers
• Able to work on your own
• Strong mechanical engineering skills
• Physically fit and able to freely climb up and down ladders
