A local manufacturer is now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
Manufacturing Engineer - Key Accountabilities
Responsible for improving the process of producing high quality goods efficiently using the most effective methods possible liaising with Manufacturing, Sales, Design and Quality.

  • Streamline manufacturing process' procedures and methodologies to improve final product
  • Reverse engineering customer samples in order to estimate new opportunities.
  • Co-ordinate and collaborate with senior management and staff
  • Ensure product deliverables are on time
  • Assist and support the new product development engineering team
  • Communicate the manufacturing processes procedures and goals
  • Creating and implementing error proofing methods in production
  • Perform and document assembly time studies


Manufacturing Engineer - Person Specification

  • HNC in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Understanding of and experience within a lean environment is beneficial
  • Streamline manufacturing process' procedures and methodologies to improve final product
  • Provide technical support and solutions to manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Provide leadership around continuous improvement
