Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Walsall
Rate: £30 - £33K
DAY SHIFT PATTERN (MON - FRI 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 8pm).

A leading manufacturer are looking for a Mechanical Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Walsall. The Maintenance Engineer position require a Maintenance Engineer with experience of both the mechanical (70) and electrical (30) aspects.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Job Role and Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Engineer will work with the maintenance engineering team to drive forward the companies PPM system (Preventive Planned Maintenance) Your role will be to re-act to machine breakdowns, fault-find and diagnose the issues and fix the machines with minimal disruption to the production facility. The candidate will ideally be experienced with CNC machines and come from the General industrial automation background


Maintenance Engineer - Person Requirements:

You MUST have experience as a Maintenance Engineer and have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Planned (PPM) and un-planned maintenance experience
• Skilled in root cause analysis
• Good understanding of OEE
• Flexible approach to working
• Ability to set up
• Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng
• Multi-skilled in both Mechanical & Electrical Engineering however mechanical biased
• 17th Edition wiring regs preferred
• Skilled in root cause analysis
• Good understanding of OEE
• Flexible approach to working
