Job: Maintenance Engineer (Weekends)

Salary: £40k (Plus shift allowance and Benefits)

Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire

We’re partnered up with a global industry leader of thermal systems, who are currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a weekend shift basis and assist with maintenance and PPM of heavy machinery, particularly around electrical systems.

Maintenance Engineer – Job description:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining electrical functions of heavy machinery within a busy manufacturing plant, with Saturday+Sunday shifts, 6PM-6AM. You will be assisting with electrical fault-finding, as well as PPM, modifications, and upgrades to prevent future breakdowns.

Maintenance Engineer - What does the role require of you?

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship, together with at least 2 years' experience in a maintenance department of a manufacturing company and a minimum ONC or City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent (Technical Certificate, etc.)
• A Maintenance Engineer with PLC experience Fault-finding - Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi and AC, DC & Servo Drive Experience would be desirable.
• Ability to diagnose complex machinery faults and act accordingly.
• A forward-thinking individual who can work autonomously utilising their own knowledge, with a co-operative attitude, being able to liaise well with the extended Engineering team to ensure smooth operations.
