Master Scheduler

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £35k-£40k

A large manufacturing company is currently looking for a Master Scheduler to join their team. The right candidate will be reporting to the Head of Operations and will have responsibility for two Production Planners.

Master Scheduler - Job Role:

• Assess volume requirements in relation to forward order book and demand forecasts
• Understand and manage risks to minimise impact on production schedule
• Ensure plans are in place with key stakeholders to mitigate material shortages that affect production
• Identify and pursue opportunities for improvement in the process of scheduling, receiving, storing
• Ability to develop processes

Master Scheduler – Person Requirements:

• Previous planning experience is required preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of effective Production Planning.
• Experience using MRP systems (SAP experience would be beneficial).
• Excellent IT skills
