Mechanical Design Engineer (Manufacturing)

My valued client who has grown massively in the past few years is looking to grow their design team. Due to this growth a well experienced design engineer with a strong knowledge of manufacturing is needed. The company is a well established and has been trading for over 50 years. A well respected company who invests in its individual this is an amazing opportunity for a talented and motivated individual.

The role will include: -

• Working with production to create Jigs and fixtures
• Working with production to draw up component parts
• Creating parts lists / Bill of Materials
• Create modular assemblies
• Design for efficient joining

Ideally the successful individual will have :-

• A sound understanding of general engineering drafting principles
• Knowledge of Design Manufacture and Assembly
• Proficiency in both AutoCADand Solid Works for 2D and 3D drawings would be an advantage
