Operations Manager

My client is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join our hard-working wholesale butchery team. You will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures, hygiene and food safety regulations including HACCP plans, audits, and accreditations.

You will have extensive experience in the food production industry, with a robust knowledge of the meat or farming industries. Butchery skills are a must, so you can assist our existing senior management team with staff recruitment, selection, training, development, and performance management.

Operations Manager– Person Requirements:

• Be a skilled butcher, with knowledge and experience of breaking down carcasses of Pork, Beef and Lamb into primal and sub primal cuts.
• Have a robust financial understanding to work with our Finance Director on forecasting, managing staffing costs and improving efficiencies.
• Have proven experience leading a team.
• Be able to work under pressure, as it is a fast-paced environment.
