Salary: £40k

We are recruiting for an Operations Manager that is seeking a rewarding challenge at a market leading, award-winning company. You will manage a growing team of Project Managers that are responsible for coordinating playground installations for schools.

In your role you will work closely with the Installations Manager and their team of Installers and lead a team office-based Project Managers and Administrators. You will have strong people management skills as well as a passion for effective systems, procedures, and processes. You will understand the wants and needs of our customers and deliver an on budget, first class service

Operations Manager– Person Requirements:

  • Identify problems before they become customer relations issues
  • Investigate and implement long term, sustainable solutions with the head of operations and install manager
  • Be able to manage customer expectations
  • Coaches, trains and develops a high-performance team

  • Contributes to improvements in process and procedures
  • Thinks long term, builds a team to handle the growth plan

  • Understands the ultimate responsibility that comes with senior management
  • Excellent communicator - Tells their team what they need to hear, not what they want to hear
  • Financial understanding - Understands the financial reporting requirements of a business
  • Functional understanding of IT and Construction
  • Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service and managing customer expectations
  • Can collaborate with like-minded senior team members across the company
