Job: PCB Design Engineer

Location: Luton

Salary: £35-45,000

We are recruiting for a PCB Designer to join a team of experienced Design Engineers. The company is spread across many industries with the opportunity to collaborate on a range of different projects.

What you will do, PCB Design Engineer:

In this role you will be responsible to produce PCB designs for the electronic products manufactured for major corporations across a range of market sectors. You will be working alongside a versatile tea, of multidisciplined engineers, on vast, challenging, and interesting projects. As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be involved in the product lifestyle from customer contact to conceptions and design to manufacture.

What we require, PCB Design Engineer:

We require a minimum of a HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent. As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be involved in the PCB design as supporting both new and current product designs. You will need to complete design packages, making sure it includes all PCB design data. You will be responsible for interpreting the engineer designs and electronic circuit symbols. Effective communicator to be able to liaise between the different engineering teams. We would need previous experience in Design for Manufacture (DFM).

We would also like a candidate to have proven experience of at least one of the following:

  • Altium Designer
  • Cadence Orcad/Allegro
  • Siemens PADS
  • Experience of designing with high-speed digital design, analogue, or complex circuits, including fine pitch components (BGA) and high pin count devices
