Location: West Drayton, Middlesex

Salary: £35k - £50k depending upon skills and experience

A local CNC precision machining company are now looking for a Production Manager to join their team.

Production Manager – Roles & Responsibilities

The company are looking for a strong man-manager and problem solver from the cnc precision machining industry.

The company have some issues around works getting out the door on time, getting the team to work cohesively and hitting production targets.

The company need a real problem solver who can device solutions in a quick and effective manner. A strong manager to get the team working to the best of their abilities by setting KPI’s and ensuring production targets are met.

A strong understanding of the CNC Machines and their abilities so that the company can maximise the machines outputs

Machines:

The company use 5 axis and multi axis CNC Machines and also use Mazaks, Hurcos lathes

Production Manager - job requirements:

The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Production Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Ideally hold an engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng although a strong understanding of engineering principles will be sufficient
• A strong background and understanding in CNC Lathes using machines such as Hurco or Mazak soc that you understand their abilities in order to get the most out of the machines
• A real problem solver
• A strong management style with the ability to get production teams working as a productive and positive team
• Able to set up and drive forward production KPI’s ensuring production targets are met
