Production Operative

Location: Kettering

Salary: £30k-£40k

A well established food production company are looking for a Production Operative to join their team. The purpose of the role is to ensure smooth running of the control room and will be reporting to the store manager.

Production Operative – Job Role:

• Monitor and safely control production movements
• Operate the control panel in a safe and efficient manner
• Monitor silos including temperature/ contamination/quality/insects
• To identify and implement actions to optimise the operations of the plant
• Operate forklifts and/or telescopic handlers (if trained)
• Load lorries with correct product to meet specification
• Ensure risk assessments are documented for all work practices
• Always adhere to Company H&S Policies and procedures
• Report any breaches of H&S via the companies reporting system
• Adhere to TASCC code of practices
• Use Q-Pulse to access relevant documentation

Production Operative – Person Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible attitude towards work
• Attention to detail
• Good team player
• Forklift/Telescopic Handler licence (Training also provided)
• Ability to make decisions
• Knowledge of TASCC code of practice
• Knowledge of Excel

Desirable

• Knowledge of Q-Pulse
• Knowledge of NAV/Evolution
