Quality Auditor

Location: Shropshire

Salary: £32k - £40k

One of the world’s largest helicopter manufacturers are now looking for a Quality Auditor to join their team.

Quality Auditor - Description/Overall purpose of the Job

• The Quality Auditor works within the Quality environment and is responsible for performing Internal Audits on Operations, Maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness.
• The Quality Auditor supports the Quality Manager in Safety Management Systems activities and promotes Safety and Just Culture ethos.

Quality Auditor - The main responsibilities of the post holder will be:

• Auditing and reporting on performance in daily operations within the scope of: EASA CAA Regulations.
• Applying corrective/preventative actions to internal audits.
• Inputting data to Quality Department databases.

Quality Auditor – Person Requirements:

The ideal candidate MUST come from the Aerospace Manufacturing Industry as a Quality Auditor. You will also have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

ESSENTIAL

• ISO 9001 or AS9100 Auditor or Equivalent
• Experience with EASA Part 145 and / or Part M training

• Good working understanding of applicable aviation regulations and accreditations EASA.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good report and procedure writing skills.
• Computer literacy particularly in the use of MS Office.
• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence required

DESIRABLE

• Knowledge of UK Military Aviation Regulatory Articles.

• Initial Human Factors certificate holder.
• Experience of EASA and MAA Occurrence Reporting

• Experience with Root Cause Analysis

TRAVEL

• Possible travel within UK between, Oxford, RAF Valley.
