Salary: Circa £35k

Working Hours:
HOURS:7:00AM – 16:00PM, MONDAY – THURSDAY,
HOURS:7:00AM – 12:00PM FRIDAY.

Quality Engineer - THE POSITION:

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with experience in an Automotive environment looking for an autonomous role in which will work as part of the Quality team to ensure an outstanding level of Quality and service is achieved?

This manufacturing business is a growing company at the forefront of the international coatings industry. For over 40 years they have been supplying many of the leading brands in Automotive and other recession proof sectors.

This role would suit an existing Quality Engineer, or someone looking to step up from an inspection role.

Quality Engineer - THE ROLE:

  • Duties include but are not limited to: document control, PPAP, FMEA, complaints and audits
  • Route cause analysis and routine quality and standard checks
  • Working within a highly successful manufacturing company
  • Work as part of the Quality Team
  • Engage with any customer queries and attend site visits as and when required
  • Training
  • Internal audits
  • Long- term, permanent position

Quality Engineer - THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will come from the manufacturing industry as a Quality Engineer. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • You will have demonstrable experience in a Quality based role
  • Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as C&G, HNC, HND or BEng
  • Ideally you will have experience in the Automotive sector
  • You will have experience in one or more of the following: PPAP, FMEA & ISO9001 or IATF16949
  • Excellent communications skills (spoken and written)
  • Attention to detail is essential
