Position: Quality Engineer

Salary: Circa £35-40k

Location: Lytham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with production to build on awareness of customer satisfaction, within all employees on site
• Monitor and report KPI’s on Quality
• Address quality concerns as they arise, ensuring that any corrective actions introduced are effective and remain so.
• Liaise with the Design Team on a regular basis to address any build issues which may arise during production.
• To understand customer needs and work with Sales Managers to ensure that products meet customer expectations at all times.

• Maintain and develop the Quality Systems which already exist.
• Introduce new procedures/processes in liaison with departments as applicable.
• Carry out internal audits as per the schedule.
• To drive a culture of integration in Quality within a metal fabrication business specialising in stainless steel.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to establish Internal Quality Standards and meet customer expectations.
• Trained to carry out internal audits as per the ISO9001:2015 standard.
• Excellent document control.
