Quality Inspector

Location: Bridgewater

Salary: Circa £35k

A precision engineering company are actively seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team.

The company focuses primarily on the prestigious aerospace, motorsport, security & defence, and oil & gas sectors. Accredited to AS9100.

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with experience in an engineering background looking for an autonomous role in which will work as part of the Quality team to ensure an outstanding level of Quality and service is achieved?

Quality Inspector - THE ROLE:

• 1st off inspection and routine inspections in a timely manner to assist production requirements and schedule of production.
• Provide quality function input to planning new jobs.
• Provide quality function support to production.
• Proactively respond to internal and external quality related issues (nonconformance investigations) with any measuring/inspection requirements.
• Within production the Quality Inspector is responsible for measuring parts to the highest of standards and relaying this information to the skilled engineers in a constructive way to ensure the highest possible standard of output, completion of inspection documentation, assisting with non-conformances, ISIRs, FAIRs, final inspection, and sub-contracted operation quality.

it would be beneficial if you have experience of FAIR, but this is not essential.

Ideally some exposure to AS9001 would also be mutually beneficial.
