Quality Manager
Location Information - Nottingham
Salary Negotiable £45k
A local manufacturing company are now looking for a Quality Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will come form a manufacturing background as a Quality Manager from the aerospace industry.
Quality Manager - Key Accountabilities

• Proven comprehensive knowledge of complex component measurement using a multitude of measure equipment types (CMM contact / scanning / non-contact, Contour, Roundness, Roughness, Air gauging, Hand held gauge, etc)
• Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience, preferably a certification in Six Sigma
• Familiar with the EASA certification process requirements
• Proficient understanding of regulatory/compliance in an aerospace environment including the AS9100 quality systems.
• Knowledge of processes and equipment required to manufacture complex mechanical components including machining, cleaning, testing and inspection.
• Working knowledge of Production Part Approval Process and associated qualification requirements.
• Experience of driving and engaging teams to achieve high performing results.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external customers
• Able to take and delegate responsibility and accountability
• Excellent Communication skills

Quality Manager - Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in a relevant manufacturing engineering discipline
• Technical expertise in quality management
• Proficient understanding of regulatory/compliance in an aerospace environment including the AS9100 quality systems.
• Leader Auditor AS91000/ ISO standards
• NADCAP Experience is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Have a good understanding of lean principles
• Have a Can Do Attitude
