Quality Manager
Location: Tring
Salary: £36k

A manufacturing company who develop customized and effective solutions primarily for the automotive industry now require a Quality Manager to join their team.

This would be ideal for somebody who is an experienced problem solver within a complex manufacturing environment.

Quality Manager - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

Reporting to the Head of Quality this role will lead in the development and delivery of a quality improvement programme. Working closely with operational managers and teams, you will adopt a holistic approach to quality and continuous improvement activities across the business to identify improvement opportunities in the short, medium and longer term.

Quality Manager - Key Responsibilities & Activities:

To collaborate with functional teams across the business to design and implement a compelling quality improvement plan to deliver against our vision to lead and grow though service, quality and innovation.

Acting as a change agent to lead continuous process improvement, deploying Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, to provide training, advice and practical assistance in the implementation of agreed processes.

Participate in a quality improvement processes based on a range of tools and techniques including Practical Problem Solving and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Quality Manager - job requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Quality Engineer. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

Essential:
Hold an engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng
Experience of TS16949, PPAP, SPC, PFMEA or any other problem-solving tools and techniques
Strong analytical skills with knowledge of advanced problem-solving techniques and quality planning tools.
A resilient, self-starter with a flexible approach and strong planning and influencing skills in to deliver multiple projects against agreed deadlines.

Desirable:
The ideal candidate will ideally come from the Automotive Industry as a proven problem solver.
