Senior Buyer

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £35k - £45k

A multi-national company are now looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team.

We are looking to speak to buyers with experience of Logistics, Aerospace, Retail or Automotive categories who would be open to a potential relocation to a lovely part of the country!!

We are working with a multi-national company who are looking to bring in a talented buyer to Manage one of their divisions.

Senior Buyer – Job Role

Selecting new products and reviewing the old

Finding the rightsuppliers

Negotiating prices

Ensuring the products are delivered on-time

Helping to interpret reports and predicting future sales

Pitching ideas tosenior management

Stock control

Budgeting

Reacting to any changes in customer demand

Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones

Senior Buyer – Person Requirements

The ideal candidate MUST come from the Engineer or Manufacturing Industry as a Buyer or Category Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a purchasing qualification such as CIPS
• Managed budgets of between £500k & £1m
• Experienced within Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing or Retail
• Experience of Negotiating with suppliers
