Due to the winning of new contracts my client is looking to recruit for a Senior Production Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person within a company who is well established and has sites dotted across the country.

The role of the Senior Production Engineer consists of:-

• To plan, organise and control Engineering resources in order to meet manufacturing and project requirements.
• Responsibility for the Engineering function input to the continual development and conformance to the defined Quality Management System and to achieve product and process quality requirements
• To assist in the preparation of production cost estimates and resource models.
• Supplier auditing, support and development
• Generate Process FMEA and error prevention strategies that robust and reduce variability within the manufacturing processes.
• To coordinate process development to improve quality and production efficiency

Ideally the successful Senior Production Engineer will:-

• Extensive background in Engineering or Manufacturing business at a senior supervisory/engineering level
• Aproven track record within a medium volume manufacturing environment with variable product portfolio
• Project management experience
• Six Sigma qualified
