Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire

We’re partnered up with a global industry leader of thermal systems, who are currently searching for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join their dynamic team and provide support for IT systems within their large industrial complex in Shipley.

Service Desk Analyst – Job description:

As a Service Desk Analyst, you’ll be joining a small but dynamic IT team with the ability to communicate and work well with teams of all levels to provide 1st and 2nd line IT support with a strong knowledge of windows-based environments.

Service Desk Analyst - What does the role require of you?

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (7, XP & 10) and MS Office 365 with experience troubleshooting and supporting MS OS and Application Software.
  • A Service Desk Analyst with knowledge and understanding of Networking including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS etc.
  • Mobile device management skills (Apple iPhone) and Backup Software with a preference for skill inside Symantec NetBackup and experience administrating active directory.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, to be able to effectively liaise with users.
  • An ITIL Qualification would be highly beneficial
  • AS/400 exposure, LotusNotes/Domino Server exposure and Citrix XenApp Awareness would all be very beneficial when applying for the role.
