Job: Service Engineer

Salary: £35k+ (Overtime hours available)

Location: Haydock, St. Helens

We’re working with a client with a leading position within the Biomass industry, who are currently searching for 2 Service/Maintenance Engineers to join their rapidly expanding Haydock manufacturing plant.

Service Engineer – Job description:

The Service Engineer will be based at our refurbishment facility but there will be a requirement to travel to other facilities throughout the U.K. occasionally. They will be involved in the maintenance, both proactive and reactive of heavy machinery within Biomass plants throughout the UK.

Service Engineer - What does the role require of you?

·At least 2+ years’ experience in Engineering, preferably having maintained heavy machinery and rotating equipment.

·A Service Engineer with a solid track record of PPM, with a proven approach to preventing faults.

·Experience detecting and repairing faults in heavy machinery.

·An NVQ level 3 in Engineering would be highly beneficial, with electrical knowledge a huge bonus.

·A production/manufacturing background with agricultural or heavy plant fitting experience would be ideal.

·A reliable ability to work autonomously and independently with a determined and methodical approach
