Salary: Circa £40k plus Good holiday allowance ,benefits and overtime

A large manufacturing company are now looking for an Shift Engineerto join their team.

Shift Engineer – Overview

We currently have an opportunity in our Engineering department for an Engineer from a multi-skilled industrial maintenance background, preferably with Mechanical bias.

Working on our 3 shift pattern, meaning a 3 week rolling cycle of both day and night 12 hour shifts. Average hours per week are 43 with the opportunity to work overtime.

Shift Engineer – Responsibility

The job will involve working in a team providing maintenance support to production. preventative and corrective maintenance,

• faultfinding,
• problem solving
• workshop repair
• overhaul of a wide range of equipment.

Shift Engineer - job requirements:

The ideal candidate must come from the manufacturing industry as a Shift Engineer

Advisor. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• must be a time served craftsperson with industrial maintenance experience

• hold a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

• Competent using Microsoft outlook and office programs

• Safety knowledge

• The ability to work unsupervised.
