Salary: 20k-£30k

My client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our production team asa Stores Controller.

With a full manufacturing facility in Staplehurst, Kent fully equipped with the latest technology we can provide our customers with the highest level of service and quality.

Stores Controller – Responsibilities will include:

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of managing company stock; this includes supervising all goods inwards and storage of stock as well as issuing material in a timely manner to production

Key Tasks/Duties of this role:

• Responsible for all goods inwards
• Ensure Stock systems records are maintained
• Issuing stock

Stores Controller – Person Requirements:

Essential Skills:

• Computer Literate
• Strong organisation skills
• Experience in a similar role, minimum 1 year
• Capable of effectively multi-tasking
• Team player possessing good inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Physically fit, due to the fact there is some lifting required in this role

Desirable Skills:

• Fork-lift licence (Although, training could be available for the right candidate)
• Experience of working within ISO9001 quality systems
• Experience of Lean/Six Sigma working practices
