I am currently recruiting for a Category Leadto join a successful Manufacturer, based in Doncaster. The successful person will lead commodity strategy within Consumables & Fasteners.

Category Lead Buyer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Working with your team, you will develop category strategy for consumables and fasteners in line with company objectives
• Develop and review a category supplier development plan
• Make sure all procurement activities within your portfolio are executed from cradle to grave
• Manage and accuratley control alldata within your category on the MRP system
• Develop excellent supplier relationships to identify new business opportunities

Category Lead Buyer - Job Requirements:

• Experience in managing a commodity within manufacturing, ideally within consumables
• CIPS accredited or working towards
• Have the ability to set commodity strategy and plans
