Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: Hull
Salary: £40k - £45k plus excellent benefits

An aerospace manufacturing company are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team.

Continuous Improvement Manager - Aim of the position
The company are part of a large group and their parent company are German. The group have a strong lean / continuous improvement ethos that each site is encouraged to follow. The site in Hull are at the beginning stages of their lean journey, a blank canvass ready for you to take ownership with.

Continuous Improvement Manager - Job Role:
Your job will be to implement lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, Work Standardisation, Just in Time Production, Single Piece Flow, improvement Events, Mistake Proofing, Root Cause Analysis, Total Quality Management, Total Productive, Maintenance, Statistical Process Control, Lean Six Sigma etc
You will write company policies, procedure and processes for the Lean Initiatives.
You will also ensure the lean processes are embedded into the company's quality management systems.

Continuous Improvement Manager - Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate will come from a Manufacturing background as a Continuous Improvement Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Ideally hold an engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng
  • Ideally hold a LEAN SixSigma qualification such as Blackbelt OR minimum Greenbelt
  • Experienced in implementing lean tools such as VSM, 5S, One Piece Flow, Root Cause Analysis, JIT, TQM Etc.
