Control Systems Engineer

A leading engineering company are recruiting for a Controls Systems Engineer to join their Specialist Design team.

Control Systems Engineer, the job:

Our client requires an experienced Control Systems Engineer. You will be needed to design and deliver solutions for a range of different projects. This will include projects from scratch and continuous updates on systems.

You will need to develop control systems through full development; This includes specification, simulating, implicating, then testing and developing. You will also need to support design work from the other departments (mechanical, electrical, and electronic). Developing and completing testing. You will also need to complete technical liaison with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and internal stakeholders.

Control Systems Engineer, what we require:

You must have a high level of mathematical competency. We would require you to have a proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, for system simulation, and Autocoding of embedded control systems. You must be experienced in developing control systems. Experience commissioning control systems.

Due to the client and business contact in this position, we would like someone with the ability to communicate clearly articulating technical concepts and ideas, with a working knowledge of the control theory.

Candidates must have an understanding in either Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical systems, and preferably have experience in the automotive or aerospace industries, with a practical approach to solving real-world problems

We would love a candidate with Control System Specification including Sensor Selection, Actuator Selection, Electrical Interfacing. Additional software development in C/C++, Python, and C# would be ideal.
