Depot Administrator

Location: Leicester

Salary: £21k-£25k

A well-established manufacturer is looking for a Depot Administrator to join their team in Leicester.

Depot Administrator - Responsibilities would include:

To ensure the effective management of depot warranty departmental and/or customer warranty claims, maximising warranty claim efficiency at all times and to achieve monthly financial targets as set out in the budget using the resource available and to control all costs associated with the running of the service department. You will also be responding efficiently and effectively to all customer queries to ensure we meet customer demand.

Duties:

  • Review and enter/check Engineer time sheets in conjunction with depot manager and post to computer system
  • Invoicing of service jobs and some parts job.
  • Submission of warranty and policy claims to JCB Manufacturers, monitoring progress, escalating issues, checking credits and coding accordingly
  • Telephone Answering; Internal and external calls, message taking
  • Systems; Use of ADP, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Parts Returns to assist in completing quarterly parts return to JCB Manufacturer
  • Purchase invoice verification and checking
  • Batch input, checking to PO & GRN
  • Use of streamline terminal for processing credit and debit card payments
  • Petty cash control/reconciliation and cash banking
  • Employee holiday and sickness submission to HR
  • General Administration
  • Stationery stocks and stock check
  • Depot post
  • Filing
  • To present a professional image at all times
  • To carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy
  • To contribute to overall success and good communication within the company.
  • To carry out any other duties as deemed necessary to fulfil the role
  • Assist in other service administration as and when required
  • Holiday cover for any role as and when required
  • Carry out all work practices in line with company health and safety policy.
