Job: Design Engineer

Salary: £35,000

A leading Agricultural and Industrial Machinery Company require a qualified Design Engineer to join their team.

Job description, Design Engineer:

You will be responsible for the development of product designs from the conception stage all the way to production. As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the testing and development of prototypes. You will be involved in the specification and sourcing of the materials which will be used on the prototypes. You will be responsible for the technical drawings, preparations of the manuals and documents for review. Compliance must be ensured with the international standards. Identify market leads and innovative ways to create new products.

What you will need, Design Engineer:

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer, with a depth of knowledge of CAD, preferably Solidworks. A candidate would preferable be at degree level or equivalent, with some industry experience. You must be aware of the manufacturing process, have some knowledge or experience in plastic injection moulding.
