Due to continued growth and the winning of multiple prestigous contracts my client is looking to add a Facade Design Engineer to their team. My client is a £25m+ turnover company who has seen year on year growth.

This position would suit a creative engineer who has a passion for the industry and is looking to grow within a company. Ideally the succesful Facade Design Engineer will have strong knowledge and experience with AutoCAD aswell as some experience with Facade Design.

The role entales:-

· Formulating the project design program whilst working to a budget.

· Settingmeasures within the projects to identify variations at source and liase withProject Managers.

· Liaising closely with pre-construction team

· Sit in meetings with project managers and operations manager

· Continuous development and identifying any skill deficiencies.

· Consideration of other strategies to reduce any associated costs, for example Structural Engineer, consultants.

· Monitor/Review design in the team before being released to the client.

· Strong design knowledge of glazing, cladding and façade technology.

· Familiar with design software packages to include: AutoCAD, Revit

· Ensure CDM is implemented in the design.

· Creation of the as built drawings following completion of the project and submitting the O&M Manual
