General Site Operator

Location: Kettering

Salary: Circa £25k

A well-established food production company are looking for a Production Operative to join their team. The purpose of the role is to ensure smooth running of the control room and will be reporting to the store manager.

General Site Operator – Job Role:

• Maintaining overall cleanliness around the store including intake pits
• Tasks as directed by the store manager
• Working as part of a diverse team, under pressure and to a strict deadline
• Gathering accurate levels of stock as instructed by the store manager
• Preparing storage areas for intake of product
• Operate forklifts and/or telescopic handlers (If trained)
• Safely directing lorry traffic around the store
• Loading lorries as instructed by the store manager or a control room operate
• Assisting control room operations with sampling of product

General Site Operator – Person Requirements:

• Adequate communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of TASCC guidelines
• Positive attitude
• Able to work in a team
• Forklift/Telescopic handler licence (training provided)
