Health and Safety Advisor

Location: London - SE

Salary: Circa ££45K - £55K

A local SME Construction company who specialises in new builds and refurbishments are now looking for a hands on Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.

Health and Safety Advisor – Job Role:

• Review and update the companies Health and Safety Policies and procedures
• Go out onto site and deliver site audits & site inspections
• Manage and oversee the sub-contractors / Control of contractors on site
• Undertake accident and investigations
• Provide toolbox talks & HSE Training & Inductions
• Ensure the correct PPE is being worn at all times

Health and Safety Advisor – Person Requirements:

The ideal candidate MUST come from the Construction Industry as a Health and Safety Advisor . You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:

• Hold a NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent
• Ideally hold or working towards NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ or NVQ
• Have a hands on approach to Safety
• Ideally have a new build construction background or similar
• Hold a full UK driving License
