Junior Buyer - Interim 12 Months
Location: Ashford - Kent
Salary: up to £23k

I am currently recruiting for a Junior Buyer to join a large food manufacturer, based in Ashford, Kent. The role is to cover maternity leave and will last the duration of between 10-13 months.

Junior Buyer - Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Provide support to Buyers and the whole Procurement function
• Sourcing fresh produce, packaging and other ingredients
• Manage current supplier relationships, both in the UK and abroad

Junior Buyer - Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a buyer/purchasing position required
• You will work to a high level of professionalism with a confident approach at all times
• Proven negotiation skills and previous examples of supplier management desired
• Confident user of all Microsoft Office products, including Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
