Maintenance Engineer Nights
Location: Wetherby
Salary: £35k

A local manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. 4 day working week 37.5 hrs. Shift pattern below:

Monday - 6pm - 3:45am
Tuesday - 6pm - 3:45am
Wednesday - 6pm - 3:45am
Thursday - 6pm - 3:45am

Maintenance Engineer - Key Responsibilities

  • Experienced mechanical and electrical maintenance background
  • Proven mechanical and electrical competency skills and certification
  • Certification of all competences
  • Ability to work unsupervised and possess a logical and thorough approach to fault finding
  • CNC machine tool experienced
  • Experience in maintaining PLC controlled machinery (Siemens preferred)
  • Pneumatics and hydraulics systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance systems
  • Experience of material handling conveyor systems
  • Experience in electrical installation work
  • Health and Safety awareness and experience of conducting risk assessments and generating a SSoW
  • Good knowledge of PPM systems and report generation
  • PC literate
  • Good references

Maintenance Engineer - Qualifications

  • Formal Engineering accreditation (EITB)
  • Academic qualifications (City & Guilds / BTEC), or equivalent.
  • EITB Certificate of Craftsmanship or equivalent
  • IEE 17th edition wiring regulations desirable
  • Training can be given for the right individual
