Maintenance Engineer
Location: Tipton
Salary: £22-25k DOE

A local manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. To undertake effective maintenance and preventative maintenance of both facilities and equipment to ensure the continued effectiveness of the business's day to day activities. Hrs of Work-Core hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30.

Maintenance Engineer - Key Responsibilities

• Dealing with Machine breakdowns
• Identification and sourcing of replacement parts
• Maintenance of fire alarms and sprinklers
• Portable Appliance Testing
• Ladders/Cranes/Slings/Chains/Forklift Trucks/Company Vehicle, Racking etc. inspections and reports
• Liaising with external specialists where applicable
• Facilities Maintenance

Coupled with a working knowledge of regulations for:

• Working at heights
• Asbestos
• Ladder and racking inspections
• H&S and Risk Assessments

Maintenance Engineer - Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering qualification
• PAT Tester
• Driving Licence as some travel between two sites required

And where possible - -

• Recent and up to date IEE Wiring Regulations
• C&G Parts 2 & 3 Electrical Engineers Installation
