Job: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £33k (Plus £2k shift allowance, Overtime availability and Benefits)

Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire

We’re partnered up with a global industry leader of thermal systems, who are currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join their team and assist with maintenance and PPM of heavy machinery, particularly around electrical systems.

Maintenance Engineer – Job description:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining electrical functions of heavy machinery within a busy manufacturing plant, with rotating daytime shifts. You will be assisting with electrical fault-finding, as well as PPM, modifications, and upgrades to prevent future breakdowns.

Maintenance Engineer - What does the role require of you?

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship, together with at least 2 years' experience in a maintenance department of a manufacturing company and a minimum ONC or City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent (Technical Certificate, etc.)
• A Maintenance Engineer with PLC experience Fault-finding - Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi and AC, DC & Servo Drive Experience would be desirable.
• Ability to diagnose complex machinery faults and act accordingly.
• A forward-thinking individual who can work autonomously utilising their own knowledge, with a co-operative attitude, being able to liaise well with the extended Engineering team to ensure smooth operations.
