Mechanical Design Engineer

A valued client is now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The succesful candidate will be reporting in to the Drawing Office Manager. The succesful candidate will have a can-do attitude.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:-

- Developing 3D solid models and drawings/ bills of materials for components and assemblies. Converting current 2D Designs and layouts into 3D CAD models.

- Liasing with relevant departments to ensure drawings are correctly followed.

-Supporting other departments such as project, maintenance and production.

-Design solutions for AD Hoc site issues when required

Job Requirements:-

-HND/HNC/BEng Qualified

-Come from a manufacturing background

- Understand CE Markings/ LOLER Regs

- In-depth CAD experience

Ideally the candidate will have experience in mobile elevated work platform equipment such as cherry pickers.
